GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ONLINE PAYMENT

1. General Provisions

These General Terms and Conditions of Online Payment regulate the terms and methods of payment for services provided by Lutar d.o.o., a rent-a-car agency (hereinafter: Lutar d.o.o.) via the website or other online channels.

By using online payment, the user confirms that they are familiar with these terms and fully accept them.

3. Payment Method

The customer may pay for the reservation online using:

  • debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, etc.)
  • other available online payment methods listed on the website

When reserving a vehicle, it is possible to make a partial payment of 30% of the total rental price as a reservation confirmation.

The remaining amount is paid upon vehicle pickup, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Online Payment Security Statement

The payment data entry form is secured using SSL transport encryption of the highest reliability. All stored data is additionally protected by encryption using a cryptographic device certified according to the FIPS 140-2 Level 3 standard. CorvusPay complies with all security requirements for online payments prescribed by leading card brands and operates in accordance with the PCI DSS Level 1 standard – the highest security standard in the payment card industry. When paying with cards included in the 3-D Secure program, your bank, in addition to verifying the validity of the card, also confirms your identity using a token or password.

CorvusPay considers all collected information confidential and treats it accordingly. Information is used exclusively for the purposes for which it is intended. Your sensitive data is completely secure, and its privacy is guaranteed by the most modern protection mechanisms. Only the data necessary for performing transactions is collected in accordance with prescribed demanding procedures for online payments.

Security controls and operational procedures applied to our infrastructure ensure the immediate reliability of the CorvusPay system. In addition, maintaining strict access control, regular security monitoring, thorough vulnerability checks, and the planned implementation of information security measures continuously maintain and improve the system’s level of security by protecting your card data.

5. Protection of Confidential Data

When paying on our website, you use CorvusPay – an advanced system for secure online card acceptance. CorvusPay ensures complete protection of card and personal data from the moment they are entered into the CorvusPay payment form. The data required for payment is transmitted in encrypted form from your web browser to the bank that issued your card.

Our store never comes into contact with your full card details.

Additionally, this data is inaccessible even to employees of the payment system. An isolated core independently transfers and manages sensitive data, keeping them completely secure.

The system is certified according to the PCI DSS Level 1 security standard, representing the highest level of security in the card payment industry.

6. Prices and Payment Currency

All prices are expressed in euros (EUR).

The amount charged to the credit or debit card may differ from the amount displayed on the website due to exchange rate differences of card organizations or the card-issuing bank.

7. Payment Confirmation

After a successful payment, the customer will receive confirmation of the completed transaction and reservation confirmation via email.

8. Reservation Cancellation and Refund

In the event of reservation cancellation, a refund is possible in accordance with the cancellation terms defined during the vehicle reservation.

In case of a refund, Lutar d.o.o. may issue the refund only to the card used for payment, in accordance with the rules of card organizations.

9. Complaints and Objections

The customer has the right to submit a written complaint regarding the service provided.

A complaint may be sent:

  • via email
  • by post to the company's registered address

Lutar d.o.o. is obliged to respond to the complaint within 15 days from the date of receipt.

10. Currency Conversion Statement

All payments will be made in euros (EUR).

If the card is issued in another currency, the amount will be converted into the card’s local currency according to the card organization's exchange rate.

11. Changes to the Terms

Lutar d.o.o. reserves the right to change these General Terms and Conditions of Online Payment at any time. All changes will be published on the website.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction lies with the competent court in the Republic of Croatia, and Croatian law shall apply.
