When you are visiting our town of Split often question that arises is where are the best places and spots for swimming, enjoying and resting on the sea.

Sea water is usually suprisingly clear except in  afternoon hours when large number of swimmers acumulated in shallow and seawater can't circulate and is hard to change.

Trstenik beach is the best kept beach in Split. This beautiful pebble beach is exactly below Radisson Blu Split Hotel which partially maintains with beach. One part of the beach is always reserved exclusively for hotel guests and rest is provided for other people and is public. Beach is very clean and the sea is beautifully clear in every part of the day beacuse it is located in the open part of the sea and isn't overtaken. In that case the water is constantly circulating alternately and this is the main reason why is this beach in every moment very clean. One part of the beach operated by the hotel is very well equipped with beds, parasols and umbrellas. Couple of beach bars are on the beach in advantage so you can order your favorite drink and meal and rest in peacefullness. Due to the sustainable management the beach has been awarded the Blue Flag.

Žnjan is the first free swimmy pebbled beach near the Trstenik beach where every person can enjoy and have fun. It has settled in between Trstenik beach on the west and Duilovo on the east. Beach is usually crowded and very loud in every part of the day especially in the afternoon. Main reason of big crowd is because there are many parking spots where you can leave your car without paying. Parking spaces are located right next to the beach and there are full of dust. Žnjan has too many different styled beach bars and music is too loud each of them. Big advance is that Žnjan is suitable for people with disabilities. Next part of the beach is suitable for persons with disabillities for easier entry. Bene is very good beach because it is located in a peaceful relaxed environment and where you can choose a place in the shade and enjoy in nature. Bene has a lifeguard on duty, changing facilities, showers, water for drink, toilets and many events. Bene's charm is that there are many trees, clean freshness air, lot of shade places,  tranquility and calming influence on people satisfactin. It is one of the naturally beach and it's not 'touristy'. Kaštelet – Obojena (colored light) beach is located about 20 – 25 minutes walking on foot from center of the town and harbour. Obojena is beatiful pebble beach with clear water where mostly young people prefer to come. During the hot summer night several beach bars on Obojena turn up this speacial place in to popular party location.  Obojena is suitable for the smallest one – childrens, those who don't know how to swimm – non swimmers thanks to the shallow, adults and for the oldest one. Beach is arounded by couple of caffe bars and some trees.

Kašjuni beach is an atracttive beach destination located in the idyllic surround of the lushy green area more quietly and peacefully then the other previous mentioned beaches. It can be compared to calming ambient like on Bene beach. The beach Kašjuni can be reached by car, bus or by foot. This one is special because it is partly sandly, rocky and pebbly beach on west side/south coast. It is popular among locals, tourists, families and young people. Row of several trees provides a little shade but we recommend for everyone to bring parasols and umbrella if you don't prefer at all so many sunrays. There is a beach bar, parking space, showers, changingrooms, toilets and lifeguard.

Firule beach has been known since ancient times when our mothers were bathing with their children on this speacial beach with tradition. Respecting tradition, this beach is also interesting for young mothers with children now. Firule grew more popular as the tennis center was organized here. Some of the famous tennis players learned their first serve on Firule place : Nikola Pilić, Željko Franulović, Goran Ivanišević as well as Mario Ančić and Jelena Kostanić.
